In March 2020, the Coronavirus pandemic led to the canceling of all events, including events taking place in Qreator. Therefore, we launched Home Together Edition – a series of 14 live artistic performances taking place in Qreator and broadcasted live on Qreator's social media assets, every Thursday.
Qreator by IQOS is a meetup point for creators and people who believe in the power of creativity. Placed in the heart of the city, Qreator by IQOS offers to all the passionate & curious people a compelling mix of inspiring events in a space divided into eight rooms fully equipped with professional tools that foster creativity and extraordinary projects. Day-by-day, project by project Qreator by IQOS established itself as a place for creatives to socialize as well as a creative coworking space for artists with different career status from regular Joe to well-established artists. The lockdown of Spring 2020 challenged us to overcome an unexpected barrier: our creative communities and our passionate public were urged to stay at home. Therefore, we needed to find a way to fulfill our mission while staying safe: Continue to keep our creative communities engaged, energized, and united during these tough times.
Based on the audience profile, we tailored a content approach to relevantly address a large palette of interests from rock music to Ted-like conferences. Therefore, we developed a live content platform on the Qreator by IQOS' Facebook page with shows broadcasted every Thursday evening. We managed to bring more than 13 hours of live transmissions in tens of thousands of homes, from the rock music of Adi Despot to the touching indie music of Mono Jacks or the incredible violin of Alexandru Tomescu and we concluded with the extraordinary voice of Angela Gheorghiu. To address different interests & expectations, we also broadcasted theatrical performances of artists such as Marius Manole, Lia Bugnar, Maia Morgenstern, or Florin Piersic Jr. and inspired our audience with a sparkling conversation about the meaning of life during pandemic times between Razvan Exharhu and the philosopher Constantin Vica. Last but not least, two TEDx events completed our live content.
